The IncoNet CA project ended in September 2016. It aimed to support the advancement of the bi-regional STI (Science, Technology, and Innovation) policy dialogue between the EU Member States/Associated Countries and Central Asia.
The project's focus was on three Societal Challenges that had been identified to be of mutual interest for both regions, namely: Climate Change, Energy and Health.
With three successful EU-Central Asia Policy Stakeholders' Conferences, the first ever Policy Mix Peer Review of the scientific system in Kyrgyzstan, a number of capacity building activities and grant schemes to support joint research endeavours, the IncoNet CA project played a vital role in promoting STI cooperation between the EU Member States/Associated Countries and Central Asia.
The project also produced a number of public deliverables (including e.g. analytic reports, databases, and EU related information in Russian).
