Armenia – Task 3.1: Grants for participation in Brokerage events in EU
The second call for grant scheme to support participation of researchers from Armenia in Brokerage events in EU was announced in January 2012 by the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia within Task 3.1 of FP7 IncoNet CASC Project. The grant scheme call was announced for the participation in the Successful R&D in Europe: 4th European Networking Event to be held through 8 - 9 March, 2012, in Dusseldorf, Germany, organized by Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of North Rhine-Westphalia and Enterprise Europe Network. The thematic focus of the call is FP7 Food, Agricultural and Fisheries, and Biotechnology priority.
In total 5 applications were received. After the evaluation of the eligible applications performed by Project Coordinator (ICBSS), Task Leader (HELP-FORWARD) and partner from Armenia (NAS RA), 4 researchers were selected for support to attend the event according to their scientific record, research performance, the participation in national or international competitive projects and the knowledge of English.
The selected researchers are: Dr. Bardukh Gabrielyan, Director of the Scientific Centre of Zoology and Hydroecology, Dr. Karine Grigoryan , Head of Food Security Laboratory of Yerevan State University, Dr. Bagrat Mezhunts, Head of Laboratory of the Centre for Ecological-Noosphere Studies of NAS RA, and Dr. Shushanik Sragsyan, Associate Professor of Yerevan State Medical University. All the grant holders will make oral presentation of their project ideas at the event.
