    Climate-KIC Innovation Festival 2015 is a three day annual conference which brings together the Climate-KIC community – partners, students, researchers and entrepreneurs as well as European policy makers and international business market leaders – to share learning and best practice and to recapture their shared mission of working together to shape the world’s next green economy. A special session dedicated to Central Asia organised by the IncoNet CA project is foreseen on 29 October.

    Workshop on 'EU-Kazakhstan Innovation Cooperation'

    A high-level policy workshop on EU-Kazakhstan Innovation Cooperation took place in Astana just after this year's EU-Central Asia Policy Stakeholders Conference. Among the speakers were Asset Issekeshev, Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Cristina Russo, Director for International Cooperation at the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission. The Astana Workshop on 2 October 2015 was the fourth in a series of special conferences dedicated to 'European Union-Kazakhstan cooperation through innovation'.

    EU-Central Asia Policy Stakeholders Conference 'EU-Central Asia Cooperation in addressing Energy Research & Innovation'

    This was the 2nd Policy Stakeholders Conference (PSC) organised by the IncoNet CA project and the 4th in a series of events targeting Central Asia,which was started by its predecessor project IncoNet CA/SC. This year's focus was on 'energy', a topic high on the political agenda of both the European Union and Central Asia. The  PSC took place on 30 Sep - 1 Oct 2015 in Astana, a workshop on 'EU-Kazakhstan Innovation Cooperation' on 2 Oct was also open to the PSC participants.

    Grant Scheme to facilitate the participation of CA/EaP countries in Brokerage Events - apply now!

    This grant scheme will financially support the participation of local researchers from Eastern Partnership and Central Asian countries in brokerage events and other similar activities related to Horizon2020 in the EU Members States or Associated Countries. The thematic priorities of the call are the three Societal Challenges, targeted by the project, namely Health, Energy and Climate Change. Maximun per grant is 3000 EUR.

    Our 'Twinning Grants' support collaboration with your partners to jointly participate in Horizon2020 calls. Twinning is a core activity of IncoNet CA and has a long tradition in Europe as a successful instrument in capacity building processes.
